He is regarded as one of South Africa’s top house DJs and, with five critically acclaimed albums under his belt and a fresh new compilation imminent, that reputation shows no sign of faltering. At only 26, Brett Jackson’s turntable talents have taken him all over South Africa and a vast majority of global destinations over five international tours. UK, Belgium, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany,Spain & the UAE. His talents have taken him to legendary clubs such as the infamous ‘End Club’ (London), Decadance (Ghent), Scandale (Geneva), Taratata (Verbier), Diam’s Club, Contre Jour & DB Club (Sion), Acqua & Areal Lounge (Basel), Lush (Stuttgart) and the world famous Mood Lounge (Karlsruhe).
Brett continued to tour abroad on a regular basis throughout 2007/08 taking his unique sound to house music fans the world over. At just 26, with 5 CD albums, several studio releases and various national and international tours to his name, Brett has performed alongside the Ame, Inland Knights, Joey Youngman, Greenskeepers, Kaskade, Lawnchair Generals, Raoul Belmans (Swirl People), Paul Oakenfold, Junior Jack, Kid Crème, Martin Solvieg, Jake Childs, Femi B, Shahrokh Dini, Sandy Rivera, Simon Dunmore, DJ Yellow, Troydon and a myriad more renowned dance music artists.
Brett's first nationwide South African tour, Deeper Sound of Brett Jackson Tour (2003) visited all major South African cities including Pretoria, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, firmly entrenching Brett as one of South Africa’s rising dance music stars. The Soulselect 01Tour (2004/2005) took him back to South Africa’s biggest cities and fullest dance floors, promoting his second mix album, Soulselect 01 (SoulCandi/Sheer).
Following hot on the heels of the success of the Soulselect 01 Tour and impressive album sales, Brett again took his sound to the studio and back on the road with the much anticipated Soulselect 02 (SoulCandi/Sheer) album and the Soulselect 02 Tour (2005/2006). Most recently Brett compiled & mixed the first & second instalment of the new & exclusive SoulCandi series ‘Dig Deeper’ which once again saw him on national & international tour to promote the series…
